Information we collect

When you submit a project inquiry, Brownsofts may collect the information you enter or select, including:

• your name, email address, company, and phone number if provided;
• your state, selected service or category, and project message;
• budget, timeframe, and contact preferences if provided; and
• the source page, landing page, referrer, and campaign values such as UTM source, medium, campaign, or content.

The inquiry service also uses limited technical request information to validate submissions, reduce spam, enforce rate limits, and protect the form. Brownsofts does not ask for sensitive records through this general inquiry channel.

How we use information

Brownsofts uses inquiry information to review and respond to project requests, assess an appropriate service scope, communicate about the requested work, maintain operational and security controls, and understand non-sensitive source and conversion context. A quote request does not enroll you in marketing communications.

Lead delivery and service providers

Project inquiries are processed through the services needed to operate the website and deliver the request. The site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, and Resend currently processes transactional email delivery for project inquiries. These providers may process information when providing those functions.

Attribution, analytics, and browser storage

The site stores bounded campaign values, the original landing page, referrer context, and the latest relevant source page in browser session storage so that this context can accompany a later quote request. Session storage ends with the browser session.

A short-lived, non-identifying first-party success marker is used after a completed inquiry so the Thank You page records the conversion once. The marker expires within minutes or is removed after use. It is not used for advertising or persistent behavioral profiling.

No third-party analytics provider is currently configured. The site can generate limited website events for functions such as quote calls to action and completed inquiries, but those events are not currently sent to an external analytics provider. Submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers, and project messages are excluded from those event details.

Cookies and similar storage

The website uses only the browser session storage and short-lived success marker described above.

Sensitive information

Do not submit patient information, protected health information (PHI), medical records, passwords, financial credentials, or other sensitive records through the general quote form. The form is not presented as a channel for PHI or other regulated records.

Data retention

Inquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, support security and abuse prevention, or meet applicable obligations. The length of time may depend on the nature of the request and any later business relationship.

Security

Brownsofts uses reasonable technical and operational measures intended to protect project inquiries and the website. No internet transmission, email delivery, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask a privacy question or request correction or deletion of information associated with an inquiry by using the Get Quote form. Provide enough context to identify the inquiry, but do not include sensitive records in the request. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably required for security, records, or applicable obligations.

Changes to this policy

Brownsofts may update this policy when website practices or supporting services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
